I decided that I wanted to redesign the look of my website, and voila!
Of course, that also means that I still have many things I need to add/update here, and I will get to it when I can.
But, for now, this is what I got to.
Meanwhile… enjoy this happy photo of Fruitcake.
This is the latest painting I worked on. This is a companion to “Starmaker”.
This one is called “Dandy”. It was created with foil paper on canvas, acrylic paint, pearlescent medium, cut vinyl (hand illustrated), and adhesive gemstone polymer adornments). Size, 16″ x 20″.
It may appear that I am missing in action, but truth be told, I have just been very busy with work, and life. I also don’t blog much because I don’t think anyone comes to this website, curious about my personal life (and if you actually are curious about that, then you need to GET A LIFE!)
While I am here, this is the latest painting I worked on. Actually, it’s a bit more mixed media than a standard painting, but come to think of it, I don’t think I have ever done a painting with just paint alone. I have a few in the works right now that are similar in concept/materials, etc.
This one is called “Starmaker”. It was created with foil paper on canvas, acrylic paint, pearlescent medium, cut vinyl (hand illustrated), and adhesive triangular polymer adornments). Size, 16″ x 20″.
I have decided to challenge myself, and do some portraits of my friends!
I have asked them for their consent, and I have been given carte blanche to capture them in whatever style or medium I feel like working in.
I have decided to start this challenge by continuing in a style that I have already established, and today’s image is of a friend of mine that I will just refer to as “Madmonkey”. There is more to come!
Some live photos I shot were used in a review.

I am really absent-minded sometimes, I swear.
An acquaintance of mine informed me that an animated video I worked on 2 years ago is in an online exhibit. I had forgotten all about it. It was showcased at a film festival here in Cleveland last year called “Private Screening.”
It’s listed in their 2007 archives, but it was featured last May in 2008 at the premiere.
So without further ado, here was my contribution:
I lent some photos for editorial usage.
